The Pomegranate Society

Pomegranate Society Membership

Carmel Academy is proud to introduce the Pomegranate Society to celebrate and honor our school's most generous supporters. These leadership gifts make an immediate difference in the life of a Carmel Academy student.
With a gift of $7,500 or more, donors not only enjoy the benefits associated with Annual Fund giving, but also become a member of Carmel’s distinguished Pomegranate Society.

Help Shape The Future

Providing a first-rate private Jewish education is a costly endeavor. At Carmel Academy we are committed to aiding strong candidates regardless of their financial circumstances. Your participation in the Pomegranate Society directly impacts the life of a child, and, importantly, helps create graduates who will be our future Jewish leaders.

All donors are invited to join the Pomegranate Society in the following giving categories, which will enable you to name scholarships for students in either of Carmel Academy’s Core or PALS programs.
  • $7,500+ - Enables a donor to name a one-year scholarship to benefit a student in Carmel’s Core program.
  • $18,000+ - Enables a donor to name a one-year scholarship to benefit a student in Carmel's special education PALS program.
  • $54,000+ - Enables a donor to name a scholarship for a student's K-8 education in Carmel's Core program.
  • $108,000+ - Enables a donor to name a scholarship for a student's K-8 education in Carmel's special education PALS program.

Named Scholarships - Sponsor a Child, Make A Difference

Your generosity through the Pomegranate Society will directly impact a child at Carmel Academy. By giving at the leadership level, your gift goes directly to sponsoring a child who otherwise could not afford a premier Jewish day school education.

One of the key benefits of Pomegranate Society membership is the opportunity to name a one-year scholarship for a student in need of financial assistance. Naming a scholarship personalizes your contribution. You may create a scholarship in your name, in honor of a family member, someone who has made a difference in your life, or in memory of a loved one.

Enjoy the Benefits of Pomegranate Society Membership

In addition to naming a scholarship in honor of whomever you wish, Pomegranate members may also choose to receive a profile of the student you are sponsoring. The name of each scholarship and donor will be recognized on this Pomegranate Society website page and in Carmel Academy’s Head of School Report. Society members will also attend a year-end reception and receive additional benefits that go along with various levels of Annual Fund giving.
